2023 Salieri Circus Award
In September 2023, I competed at the third annual Salieri Circus Award in Italy, a festival merging circus with art music played by a live symphony. My Cyr wheel act was performed to “Ave Maria” by Bach and can be viewed here. The festival was covered by the Studio Aperto on Italia 1 and features a clip of my act:

My photo was even chosen to be the cover of an issue of “7 Giorni di Circo”, a weekly online Italian magazine by “Club Amici del Circo”:
Leading up to and following the shows, several articles where published about the festival and its participants, including me. These included articles by CircusTalk (which even featured my image as a participant), La Notizia, Verona Sera, and a second article by Verona Sera.

2022 San Diego Circus Festival
Stacy Clark, the founder and CEO of CircusTalk, awarded me the CircusTalk Spotlight Award at the 2022 San Diego Circus Festival for my aerial straps and Cyr wheel acts. The award recognized a single circus artist “whose work demonstrates courageous expression, social relevance, and artistic and technical acumen.” CircusTalk’s 2022 End-of-Year Review highlights this achievement.
The festival also awarded me the Vanguard Award recognizing creativity in pushing the boundaries of the artform for my straps act and the DaVinci Award recognizing overall act presentation for my Cyr wheel act.
“Nutcracker Twist” by CirqOvation and Symphoria
Syracuse.com covered the “Nutcracker Twist” for both the 2021 production at the NY State Fairgrounds and the 2022 production at the historic Landmark Theatre. This show takes a more sentimental and impactful twist on the traditional Nutcracker, and I feel very fortunate to have been able to perform straps, Cyr wheel, and silks in these shows!
